1. How do I delegate certain functions of Master School Administrator account to administrative staff or teachers?

Only the Master School Administrator (MSA) can delegate. To do so, the MSA should select “Account Setting” then “Account Delegation” from the School Desk menu on the left. Click “Add a DSA(A)” or “Add a DSA(T)” to delegate account functions to a School Administrator or teacher. After filling in the information in the boxes provided and selecting the system function(s) to be delegated, click “Save”.

There are 6 categories of system functions available for delegation:

1.        Welcome Page, To-do List and School Profile (default)

2.        Appointment Management

3.        Verification of Teacher Profiles

4.        CPD Activities

5.        Import & Export

6.        Training Calendar System (TCS)

As a security measure, assignment of user rights to administrative staff or teachers to act as DSA should be documented and reviewed periodically.

As the system will not automatically notify the School Administrator or teacher concerned, please inform him/her of the arrangement upon completion of the delegation process.
