2.If the system indicates a teacher is found on the Teacher List but not on the Payroll, what should I do?
If the system indicates a teacher is found on the Teacher List but not on the Payroll, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
1.The teacher has departed but the school has yet to terminate his/her employment. In this case, please input the teacher’s end date of employment and termination reason in the system. The discrepancy will be resolved once the updated record is saved. 2.The teacher is not paid by Salaries Grant and the “Terms of Employment” (TOE) in his/her appointment record is incorrect. In this case, please update the teacher’s TOE. The discrepancy will be resolved once the updated record is saved.
3.The teacher is paid by Salaries Grant but the payroll record has not been updated accordingly. In this case, if the school has already informed the Funds Section of the new appointment, the discrepancy will be resolved after the Funds Section has updated the payroll record. Since the Funds Section has to process a large amount of appointment data at the beginning of a school term, please be patient if the system fails to reflect the most up-to-date information.
