2. The school has both secondary section and primary section. How to manage the appointment records for teachers teaching in both sections?
If the school has not yet activated "School Group" feature, click "Forms" in the left menu and then click "5. School Group Administration Application Form". Fill in and submit the form.
If the school has activated the School Group feature, after adding an appointmnt record of a teacher in secondary or primary section, it only needs to click "Add Appointment to Another School under the Group" in "Appointment Management" > "Updating of Appointment" to add the appointment record in another school section in the same school group.
Select the school section to which the appointment record should be added, input appointment information, and then click "Save".
Note:
1.Terms of employment (TOE): School should enter the appropriate TOE, e.g. "Regular", "Temp (fill a post in staff establishment)", etc. in the appointment record of the teacher's main serving school section. And, in the other school section, TOE should always be "Others (by special funding or self financed)" irrespective the TOE in the main serving school section. 2.Full-time Equivalent (FTE): It should reflect the FTE of a teacher in the whole school instead of the teaching portions in different school sections. For example, for a full-time teacher, although the division of duties in secondary and primary sections is 0.7/0.3, the FTE of the teacher in both secondary and primary sections should be 1.
