2.  If a teacher from the Secondary Section of the school also teaches in the Primary Section, should the school register him/her as a New/Re-appointment of the Primary School?

 

If the school has activated the School Group feature, the School Administrator only have to include the appointment information of the teacher in another school section in the Group account. There is no need to register the teacher as a New/Re-appointment in another school under the Group.

 

The steps to add new appointment to another school under the Group are as follows:

 

1.From the School Desk menu on the left, select "Appointment Management" then "Updating of Appointment" ;

 

2.Select the teacher whose appointment information requires updating from the list;

 

3.Click "Add Appointment to Another School under the Group" ;

4.After selecting the new school section that the teacher is appointed under the Group, input his/her appointment information and click "Save". For example, if a teacher (whose TOE is "REGULAR" ) is paid by the Secondary Section but teaches in the Primary Section at the same time, the School Administrator only needs to add another appointment record for the teacher in the Primary Section and set the TOE to “OTHERS (BY SPECIAL FUNDING/SELF FINANCED)”
